BLUETTI EP900 + B500

EP900 is the 9 kW inverter. Each B500 is 4,960 Wh nominal / 4,464 Wh usable (Bluetti). Two packs ≈ 9.9 kWh. Off-grid output drops to 7.6 kW with only two B500s — that is their note, not ours.

What “home backup” means with a portable

Corded: fridge, CPAP, router, lamps, a window AC if watts allow. That is a real backup. Automatic whole-house is a different SKU (Ultra X + SHP3, Powerwall, EP900 + a panel). Amazon is a fallback if a brand site is sold out.
